Coming of age in Austin, Texas my hunger for sensory delights was easily satisfied by way of long summer days at countless music festivals or shows, trekking to secret water holes, and listening to some pretty great records. Today, I continue to invest my spare moments listening to music with my family, (analogue, thank you), rediscovering dance, playing with my dog Manu and developing my knack as a cook — the kitchen is the best room in the house, and it is mine. I enjoy slow Sundays and attempting to “win” at doing the crossword puzzle with my husband. I have learned how to slow down enough to enjoy the bathtub and the moments between moments. Mostly, though, I spend my time picking up the jetsam strewn about my tiny house by my two-year old daughter.
