Therapy Services

My Approach

Modalities

I am not a one size fits all therapist in that I use an eclectic blend of multiple disciplines. My clinical approach is solution-focused and client-centered. I believe that each individual has the answers within themselves and that I am here to help facilitate that. I also believe therapy can be fun and hope to bring that to our sessions. I am trained in EMDR, DBT, CBT, ERP and ACT and utilize an approach tailored to your needs.

Who I work with

Adults and older teens(16+). I am an all inclusive therapist and have found unique ways to connect with each of my clients.

What I treat

Trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, Addictions, Anxiety Disorders (OCD, health anxiety and phobias), Depressive Disorders (major depression and bi-polar disorder) and Personality Disorders.

I believe far too many people’s symptoms have been over-pathologized and are actually a product of the world we live in. If you find yourself struggling in life and want to find a more peaceful existence, I can help with that!

Paying for Therapy

Rate

My current private pay rate is $150 for a 1 hour session.

Insurance

In an effort to make therapy more accessible I accept Aetna, BCBS, Optum and United Healthcare insurance. If you have out of network benefits I can provide you with a superbill to get reimbursed for services.

Sliding Scale

I also offer a limited number of sliding scale spaces.

Good Faith Estimate Disclaimer

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, the “No Surprises Act,” you have a right to receive a “good faith estimate” explaining how much your therapy services will cost.  Healthcare providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who choose not to use their insurance for therapy services with an estimate of the cost of those services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total cost of therapy services

  • Make sure your therapist gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your appointment.  You may also ask your therapist for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an appointment.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call HHS at 1-800-958-3059.
